Prior to becoming an attorney, Keith spent 20 years at a leading disc drive manufacturing company where he supported the design, development, and manufacturing of disc drive recording heads with significant experience in thin film wafer fabrication and recording head electromechanical assemblies having Magnetoresistive, GMR, and TMR readers and advanced air bearing surfaces. At this same corporation Keith was later involved in Information Technology management with responsibility for software license agreements, data centers and information networks, eSecurity, and Cloud SaaS/IaaS/PaaS infrastructure.
Early in his career Keith served his country in the United States Navy as a submarine officer while holding a variety of positions involving navigation, electronic communications, underwater weapons, combat systems, and sonar. Later, as a Chief Engineer Officer he was responsible for his ship’s nuclear reactor, propulsion, electrical generation, reactor protection and control systems, shielding, and radiochemistry control.Keith’s practice consists of patent drafting and prosecution, performing patentability and clearance searches, and preparing patent invalidity opinions, as well as electronic discovery and patent litigation support.
